Janice is a graduate of Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, bringing 24 years of experience to our team, and has been with Dr. Kaltio since 2006. Janice started her career as a certified dental assistant and has since grown with the dental industry. Her goal is to help patients feel comfortable and understand their dental treatment and options. Janice was born in the Fiji Islands, raised in Calgary, and lived in Australia for a short time. In 2005, she moved to Richmond with her family where she enjoys reading, listening to music, yoga, and is an avid traveler, especially to her favorite destination Hawaii! She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and dog, as well as quality time with friends and family.

Tammy graduated from Vancouver Community College in 1995. With 17 years of expertise in dentistry, Tammy assists our Richmond dental clinic both at the reception desk as well as chairside. You will find Tammy happy to coordinating appointment times with your busy schedule, as well as making your time in the dental chair stress-free and enjoyable. In her spare time, Tammy enjoys rollerblading, crafts, gardening, and her cat, Meadow and her dog, Zoey.

Nina was born and raised in Manila, Philippines until her entire family emigrated to Vancouver in 1994. She has been a certified dental assistant for the past two decades, assisting in general procedures as well as in orthodontics, implant and dental surgery.
Nina’s cool and calm demeanor makes her an indispensable member of the team. She enjoys connecting with patients and making sure they are at ease from the start to the end of any dental procedure.

Nina enjoys cooking, listening to jazz music, watching Broadway musicals and spending time with her family — her husband Arthur, her daughter Bianca, and their 8-year-old Bichpoo mix, Koda.

Emily was born in South Korea and moved to Canada at an early age with her family. She has graduated from Algonquin college with a dental hygiene diploma and started practicing in 2019.

What makes her work so enjoyable is being able to improve and sustain her patient’s oral health and knowing that their teeth is ready to shine.
With a commitment to deliver exceptional dental care, she strives to ensure each appointment is not only comfortable but also pleasant for every patient. One thing Emily loves about living in the lower mainland is that she can enjoy the vast nature it offers. Hiking is a great way for her to get her daily exercise in while enjoying nature. Other activities she enjoys includes hunting for cute cafes and restaurants.
